Luvsbugs,

My hometown is San Diego, and from 1985-1993 I lived in the Phoenix area. We made many, many trips between the two cities, especially in the summer, and we always passed through Yuma. You've brought back some nice memories. Welcome to the forum!

Take Care,
Pam

Hi Everyone,
I’m part of a team that’s trying to learn more about those who have Rheumatoid Arthritis. If you suffer from RA, do you think you could take a few minutes and answer this anonymous survey? You’ll find the survey here: http://ArthritisStudy.com
Thank you!

Valerie

Bolivar, Missouri. A small town about 30 miles north of Springfield, Missouri. In the Ozarks. For some reason the founders of this town decided to name it for the South American liberator,Simon Bolivar. But we don't pronounce it the Spanish way. We say ball i ver. It's a great place, but right now I am missing the Florida weather.LOL

Hi Kathy Mar. I grew up in Lenexa, Kansas. Back in the late fifties and sixties. I cannot believe how big it is now. When I lived there it was mostly churches and taverns. LOL. A skating rink and a fast food restaurant were the first ones in the early sixties. Boy were we glad! My senior yr of high school I worked at the A-OK Burger, just off I-35 on 95th Street.Made 70 cents an hour and did pretty well on that as I was still at home.LOL
Somrtimes I miss that place.

We lived not far from Safety Harbor, in New Port Richey for four years and my husband worked in Safety harbor for a time,in construction. It is so beautiful down there and I sure do miss the weather. I'm in a Missouri snow-storm right now.LOL

I'm in very upstate New York, near Canada, and would love to find a few friends to start a support group to meet face to face, if possible, or just connect by phone now and then. Still working full-time, thank God, and busy!

Welcome to all the new members!

Ellen,

I lived in "the north country" for two years. My sister and her family lived there for 10. I'll bet we didn't live too far from you. What town are you in, or what's the closest town?

Courtney,

I now live in North Carolina, as do quite a few of our members. It would be fun to start a thread just to see who's here.

Take Care,
Pam
